Weather Tips for Globe & Tonto National Monument

  • Heat, lightning, flash flooding in washes, mountain road conditions, wildfire restrictions, smoke, and cold high-elevation nights can all affect plans.

  • For campground days, check overnight lows, fire restrictions, storm timing, and how quickly shelter is available.
  • Never treat dry washes or canyon bottoms as safe during nearby storms because runoff can arrive from miles away.
