Make the Most of a Ventura & Ojai Day

Start by comparing conditions across Ventura, Ventura Harbor, and the rest of the coverage area. Choose among biking, hiking, outdoor events based on wind, precipitation, temperature, visibility, water or trail conditions, road access, smoke, and available daylight.

  • Conditions around Ventura coast, lower Ventura River, and Ojai Valley can differ sharply from nearby towns; a coast-to-valley corridor with fog, beach wind, inland heat, fire weather, and trails are the main planning variables.

  • Recent rain, heat, smoke, fire restrictions, water levels, and afternoon wind can change which route or activity is most comfortable.
